Who we are
Aqilla started in activewear. We were never meant to stay there.
We’re a brand in the middle of evolving, moving from the gym toward something more elevated, more intentional, more lasting. Every piece is made with purpose, from fabric chosen to be kind to your skin and to the world it came from. We’re building toward something bigger than clothing: a luxury house told through story, designed to leave the space more honest than we found it. This is an early chapter. Our Mission
Our mission goes deeper than fabric. We’re here to make a woman feel something when she puts us on: seen, certain, unafraid to take up space. We create that feeling first, then build it to last, timeless pieces she’ll reach for years from now, made with intention, from materials chosen to be kind to her skin and the world they came from. We came to leave fashion more honest than we found it, to build something that didn’t exist, and to prove that what you’ve become was never meant to be hidden.

The Beginning
Aqilla didn’t begin as a brand. It began as a problem I couldn’t unsee: gear that asked me to choose between feeling strong and feeling like myself.
So I made the thing I wanted to wear, and built it to be seen: the open back, the weight made for every season, a piece that felt considered instead of disposable.

Our Founder Story
The Woman Behind Aqilla
I was born in Switzerland and came to the U.S. young with everything to prove and nothing handed to me. I gave six years to the military before I ever knew where life was taking me.
What came next surprised even me: fitness, and then the runway years spent learning how presence, movement, and what you wear can speak before you ever do. Fashion had been quietly pulling at me the whole time. Styling, creating outside the lines, it's simply how my mind has always worked.
I've never stopped evolving country to country, uniform to stage, stage to studio. This brand is me doing it in the open: building something that didn't exist, and refusing to hide it.
